Class Overview
Whether a student is college bound or headed to the working world after high school, there is still a need to know how to present yourself professionally through your writing. During the first half of the year, we will learn how to properly complete professional emails, job applications, and resumes. We will also create business letters, memos, press releases, meeting agendas, newsletters, and business cards.
The second half of the year we will focus on the various literary elements by reading and analyzing several works of literature in order to fulfill a complete credit.
This is the perfect class for any high school student who still needs a Language Arts credit and wants to learn how to apply their writing skills in practical ways.
